Baby’s sleeping and feeding needs

Our Holistic Post Natal Packages also offer support and information for new mums on issues such as breastfeeding and baby’s sleeping. Many people have unrealistic expectations of a new baby’s sleeping and feeding needs, which depend on the baby’s weight, if they are premature, special needs and changing temperature and climate.

Women who have had a stressful birth experience, or who are anxious about breastfeeding can experience a delay in the hormones required for breastfeeding. Stress prevents the breastfeeding hormones prolactin and oxytocin, from being released from the brain. Our Holistic Post Natal Care packages provide new mums with education on breastfeeding and sleeping methods.

You will also have the pleasure of learning baby massage and experience the benefits of skin to skin contact for your baby’s growth, security, happiness and wellbeing. We aim to increase your confidence and enjoyment for mothering in as many ways possible.
