Keep this dip in the fridge, sealed and use it as a spread on your favorite toast, or bread or eat with sticks of carrot, celery or other finger food.
It’s a great all round source of protein, carbohydrate and fiber, rich in omega 6 and essential fatty acids, and is quick and healthy. Try replacing your morning toast spreads with this.
2 large ripe avo’s
3-4 tablespoons of sour cream (leave if dairy intolerant)
Squeeze of lemon juice
Small dribble of sweet chili sauce (leave if breastfeeding a young baby)
A great dish to have cooked and ready to eat for any time of the day. Good for breastfeeding- packed full of protein, and fiber. Eggs may create wind in young babies, so monitor your baby’s reaction for 24 hrs or so after eating this dish.
8-10 eggs
Splash of milk or soy milk
1 large carrot grated
1 large zucchini grated
4-5 mushrooms grated
Sea salt and black pepper
Place all grated ingredients into a well greased quiche pan Beat eggs and milk and pour over the carrot, zucchini and mushroom Cook in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees.
